Why Did Bill Gates Let Xbox Ruin A Great Product?
The xbox 360 is such a rip-off. For starters you don’t design a product for techonology that is still in the “beta” phase. HDTV is new technology, barely out of the embryo. There are so many kinks and bugs with HDTV’s that it is definitely a risky endeavor to pick up one for the 13 channels your gonna get on it, anyway. Picking up an HDTV just for a video game is even more absurd. I’ve seen an HDTV with my own two eyes and “let me tell ya, it aint sh**.” The technology is an embarrasment and will become this generation’s “electronic toothbrush”. The xbox 360 developers were so busy making the system look bad on standard t.vs that it forgot to take notice that HDTVs needed some of those base componets they stripped the 360 of. As a result, you get uneven colors, jaggies, and all sort of image nightmares on these HDTVs. The conclusion: Nobody is happy. The standard tv people, the HDTV people, the monitor people, and everything else inbetween is unhappy about the 360 and “Hi-Def beta”
